Information For Patients Wishing To Register With Arnold Medical Centre:
This surgery WILL NOT issue repeat Benzodiazepines and Z-drug prescriptions.
Patients who are taking this type of medication and wish to register with this practice will be offered a gradual reduction programme.
In order to register at this surgery this policy must be adhered to!
Patients that are taking Benzodiazepines and Z-drugs will be asked to attend a medication review with the GP where a reduction programme will be agreed.
This is to ensure safe prescribing at our practice.
