Any patient who is asked to come into the Practice for a Face to Face consultation with a GP or a Nurse MUST wear a face covering
We have a triage first appointment system in place with all of our GPs.
The GP will ring you and either sort out the issue over the telephone, by video consultation or they may ask you to come into the Practice for a Face to Face appointment if they feel this is necessary.
Telephone Triage appointments can be booked between 8am and 6.30pm Tuesday to Thursday.
We have extended access on a Monday and a Friday so that people who are working can access the GP or nurse before work. The hours are 7am to 6.30pm.
You can make an appointment to speak with or see a Health Care Professional within 24 hours or a Doctor within 48 hours.
Evening & Weekend Appointments
Evening and weekend appointments are available with GPs, practice nurses and other healthcare professionals for routine pre-booked services.
The Fylde Coast NHS has arranged for additional appointments to be provided outside of normal GP practice hours by the Fylde Coast Integrated Urgent Care Service.
The service offers pre-bookable and same-day routine primary care appointments with a range of clinicians including GPs, nurses and health care assistants.
Please be aware that this is not a walk-in service - you must have an appointment.

myGP app is a patient facing service for smartphones. The app is designed to improve patient access to primary care services, to enable safe and secure communication between the practice and its patients, support data collection and to encourage self-care through monitoring and medicines adherence. It allows anywhere, anytime access – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at home or abroad.
Core functionalities of the current version of the myGP are:
- Appointment booking/cancellation
- Call/Recall Campaign
- Circle of Care
- Patient-to-practice communication
- Medication Reminders
Registration takes just a few minutes. You need to download the app on to your android or iOS device, then register using your date of birth and mobile phone number for authentication (you must have your mobile number registered with the practice for the app to authenticate your registration). Once this is done you will be sent a text message with an authorisation code.

Text Reminder Service
We now have a FREE text reminder service for those patients with mobile phones who have given us their number. We will send a reminder of your appointment by text message 48 hours before it is due. We hope this will help with the 80% of missed appointments that are due to forgetfulness.
If you no longer require your appointment we ask that you contact us to cancel it as we can then provide care to another patient. To cancel you can ether telephone reception or if you have received a text message you can reply to this (this will be charged by your provider).
